The latest release of PaperLess for Sage 50 Accounts has 12 new exciting features. These useful functionalities will improve your organisation’s efficiency. These new features are part of our continuous development, which is available to all users.
Batch update of accounting field is used to update same accounting field on more documents in one go, saving you time and increasing your efficiency.
New report shows all the accounting fields in Excel for selected documents. This is very helpful when you want to get an overview or review of all the accounting lines for selected documents in one window. Since users get all fields directly in Excel, they can sort out summaries as they wish.
With this new functionality users can now register a user or document flow group as cost unit responsible. This ensures that the responsible user/flow group will receive the invoice when cost unit is inserted.
You can now limit which transaction a user can view in Accounting Archive. Previously a user could either have access to all tabs in Accounting Archive given access to all transactions, or only able to search in archived vouchers. Now you can limit based on customer, supplier, general ledger and the cost units that are active.
This offers the advantage to search for the unique PaperLess document number (PLDNo) in both Accounting and Other documents archive.
Users can now send emails directly from PaperLess. This is a very practical function for terminal server session especially when the user has no email client software defined.
New reports are available for user rules, access control of accounting archive, cost unit responsible, and access control of other document archive via Menu item reports.
Now you can insert minus after the amount. Previously the minus sign had to be inserted before the amount.
Added support for PDF format in addition to TIF for attachments in XML invoices of format “e2b”.
A new button has been created in the File menu called “Copy setup to other clients” which gives you a list of all clients user has access to. You can then select multiple clients to copy folder and field definitions to.
We have created new user rule “Disable document flow management”. This means a user who enables this user rule will only be able to run item “Activate document flow” from the document flow. They will not be able to run any other item from the Menu item in Document flow as they have been restricted from doing so.
The general OCR:INT is used for invoices coming from countries which do not have an OCR specific language. This has been enhanced so it now checks for modules to verify that whether a found European VAT number is valid or not. The following countries VAT numbers are verified: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, pain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland.
